The general curriculum includes the definition of public international law, its sources, and its characters: the state, its elements, types, capacity and recognition, diplomatic and consular relations, means of acquiring sovereignty over the territory, internal waters, and the settlement of international disputes. The special curriculum includes an in-depth study of one or more of the following topics: the case of diplomatic protection, the jurisdiction of the International Court of Justice, the international protection of the environment, the exclusive economic zone , international non-governmental organizations, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
