This course covers the knowledge and skills required to apply international quality standards in various work environments, which are essential requirements for many service and manufacturing organizations. Through in-depth study, students will learn the fundamentals and practical applications of a selection of the most widely used international standards, including the requirements for obtaining quality certifications such as ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety), and ISO/IEC 27001 (Information Security). In addition to these international standards, the course will also address topics related to quality in education, such as ISO 21001 (Educational Organization Management System), as well as the accreditation requirements for higher education institutions in the Sultanate of Oman and how to meet these requirements.
