The general curriculum includes the study of recently emerged crimes, their origin, development, types, characteristics, how to combat them, their material and moral elements, the difference between them and traditional crimes, and the bodies competent to detect and investigate crimes in accordance with Omani law. The special approach includes an in-depth study of one or more of the topics of new crimes such as (information crimes) in the light of the Omani Anti-Cybercrime Law
