The general curriculum includes an in-depth study of the elements of crime and the philosophy of punishment in Islamic law compared to positive criminal law. The special curriculum includes an in-depth study of one or more topics of Islamic criminal legislation, including: theft, murder, haraba, and prostitution in terms of the elements of crime, criminal responsibility, punishment, how to implement it, the consequences of punishment and retribution, and the provisions of blood money and expiation.
